If you're pregnant and trying to decide if you want a birth photographer present when you give birth, these images will convince you to absolutely, positively hire that photographer. When a baby is born, it is often referred to as "the beginning of life." However, it is fair to say that some births are more uus than others. In her six years as a professional birth photographer, Robin Baker has attended over seventy births, so she was well-prepared to document the home birth of twins. Looks like her hard work paid off.
On February 24th, Robin Baker, a birth photographer and doula from Temecula, California, captured every step of the wart birth process, which occurred so quickly that the couple's birthing team was unable to arrive in time.
The photographer describes the moment as "truly one of the most moments of my career," and one of the photographs even won the 2016 Image of the Year Competition hosted by the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers. She stated, "These parents are experienced home birthers, having given birth to their first child at home just two years prior to the birth of their twins." In between photographing attractions and preparing a birthing space, I was focused on assisting the couple. I am also an experienced home birthing mother, so I knew what to do."
While taking photographs and assisting the mother in dealing with tts, u Robin was helping to prepare the space as the birth progressed so quickly that the t t had no time to arrive for the procedure. However, the group was able to speak with the doctor via telephone, and in the end, "the parents were calm and peaceful, and their children were born without difficulty."
Robin filled the tub at the t ttu, whereupon the mother climbed in and began to us immediately. Even more is that nothing was out of the ordinary when the first baby boy was born, but his sibling was born " u," meaning he was born still inside his t s, which occurs in approximately 1 in 80,000 births. "They had thirty minutes of bonding time with Baby A before Baby B was placed in his father's arms while still en-caul"
The award-winning photograph that Robin took at this moment depicts the father cradling the in the -tt t while his wife holds their first child, a baby girl, in her arms. The mother reached down and removed the s, and the father then turned the infant to s t Nu and handed him to the mother. According to the mother, this was a planned home birth that "went exactly as I'd hoped." The t t finally arrived shortly thereafter to deliver the second t.
The resulting images, in both color and black-and-white, depict the mother with her hair in a bun looking alternately displeased and ecstatic as she and her tattooed partner welcome their newborn sons. Robin stated, "Everyone was extremely appreciative for such a wonderful tu t experience. Women are when they listen to their bodies' natural instincts!"
