Mother believed she had imagined her baby saying "I love you," but when her husband arrived, they were able to confirm the surprise.
Unquestionably, one of the things that parents anticipate the most is their children's first words. This is precisely what happened to Breanna Brensinger and Jake Allen, the parents of little Haisley, who did not anticipate that their daughter could speak at such a young age.
Now 9 weeks old, Haisley Rae Allen is the daughter of Breanna Brensinger, 19, and Jake Allen, 21. Breanna is responsible for the child's care the majority of the time, while Jake is at work.
On one of those occasions when her mother spent the afternoon with Haisley, she claimed to have overheard the infant utter the phrase "I love you." Initially, she thought it was a figment of her imagination, as babies do not typically begin to babble until 7 or 8 months of age.
Then Breanna attempted to repeat the action, concluded that her child was imitating her, and repeated, "I love you." She repeated the phrase to confirm that she was, in fact, mimicking her.
Therefore, she called Jake to confirm because she believed it was a joke. This time, they recorded it to gauge their success.
"I told her father, who at first did not believe me. "However, I was able to persuade him to give it a shot, and we finally captured it on video," Breanna explains.
After a few attempts, the infant repeated "I love you," much to the delight of her parents.
"I couldn't believe she was already speaking in such a manner, and I was happier than I've ever been. We were ecstatic to hear her first words, especially those," Breanne said.
According to her, Haisley can also say "Hello" and she believes that when she cries, she calls her "mom," although her mother believes that the sounds may be coincidental.
Being a mother at such a young age is undoubtedly difficult, but she insists she wouldn't change it for the world.
"It was unanticipated, but it improved my life a millionfold. I absolutely adore being a mother. I hope we can continue to teach her how to speak, help her learn new things daily, and keep her smiling and happy."
